What do I need to get started?

So that you can start right away, we have put together different starter sets. These sets contain everything you need to get started right away. The small set consists of a Silhouette Cutter - Cameo 3 or Portrait 2 - and some foils, which are easy to work with even for beginners. You can then use an iron to iron them on. The large set contains the plotter, a selection of films and a transfer press. A press is not absolutely necessary for getting started. Almost all foils can also be applied with an iron - but this requires some practice. The iron must be able to reach at least 150 °C and it must be used without steam. If you cannot manage with the iron, we recommend the HappyPress 2 or our HappyPress 3. If you want to distribute or sell the produced textiles outside the hobby area, we recommend using the HappyPress 3. As with the HappyPress 2, the pressure and heat are evenly distributed and the pressure and a timer can also be set. This guarantees that the settings are the same for every printing process.
