How can I tell that the test cut is correct?
The test cut consists of a square with a triangle.
First the square is weeded. The triangle should remain on the support without any problems.
Then remove the triangle. The triangle should be easily visible on the support (slight scoring).
If the carrier is cut through, the knife or the pressure must be changed/reduced. If the triangle does not stay on the backing, the cut was not deep enough. In this case, the pressure and possibly also the knife must be increased first.
The test cut can be repeated as often as required. The first test cut is made in the upper left corner of the material.
For further test cuts, the knife can be moved using the arrow keys in the Silhouette Studio software.
